Five Question Friday!

Hey, hey, hey!!

Ok, yes, it's 9pm. But, I'm home (I won't be so lucky over the next several Friday nights. We'll just be locking up at this point. Or wishing we could, but still helping lots of customers!)

As it's Friday, that means Mama M. has blessed us with

My Little Life

And I will not lie. I'm super excited about todays, 'cause one of the questions is MINE!

(And anyone who knows me at all will know which one it is. If you don't know me all that well yet, I'll fess up at the end, but first, see if you can guess!)

So, here's how we play. Mama M. has given us this week's list of questions (Courtesy of Tara, Kate, Thorney London and Yours Truly!), and it's up to us to provide our answers. Ideally, you do it in your own blog-diggity, but there are a few of you who have yet to dive into the realm. That's cool, we promise not to hold it against you. Assuming, of course, that you go ahead and throw your answers on into the comments section down there at the bottom. Oh, and do you think you have a great question to share? Pop on over here and leave it for Mama!

1. What's your "comfort food"?

2. Do you send Thank You's (handwritten or email)?

3. If you had to be trapped in a TV show for a month, which show would you choose?

4. What is your favorite online recipe site?

5. If you had to choose: "Friends" or "Seinfeld"?

1. What's your "comfort food"?
Oh my, what ISN'T!? I love food. All of it. But I am lovingly referred to as the starch queen. No Atkins Diet for me, thanks, I'd die first.
To pick one? Potato Soup. Rich, thick, buttery, cheesy, creamy. It's all about the celery salt, and getting the potatoes cooked just right. Not mushy, but done through. Firm, yet tender.
That would be closely followed by Chicken and Dumplings, Chili, Spaghetti, Mac & Cheese, and McDonald's.

2. Do you send Thank You's (handwritten or email)?
I suck at these. Seriously. The guilt is overwhelming at times, but I'm just not good at getting them done. Because I'm a procrastinator. And eventually, I've procrastinated to the point that sending them is embarrassing. Which is even more embarrassing. *sigh*

3. If you had to be trapped in a TV show for a month, which show would you choose?
Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. Me, Guy, a red convertible, and some fabulous food.
200 pounds later, I'd not be cute, but I'd be happy!

4. What is your favorite online recipe site?
I dunno that I have a favorite online. I tend to google stuff. I live by my Better Homes and Gardens red plaid cookbook, though.

5. If you had to choose: "Friends" or "Seinfeld"?
Friends. I never did get into Seinfeld. I didn't watch Friends until it was over, and all there was was reruns, but I at least enjoyed it!

Ok, loves! I've got it in, and it's even still Friday! Now...

Guesses as to which one was mine?

Yep. Comfort foods!

Ok, off to read what has gone on in the bloggy world while I've been preparing for tax season!

I don't think I'm going to like it if your work keeps you from socializing with us imaginaryfriends....

  6. Yes, please post a potato soup recipe! I love potato soup, but I haven't attempted to make it at home.

I also love my BH&G cookbook, it's our go-to cookbook for so many recipes!

  7. Now you're going to have to post your potato soup recipe.

Can't you tell your boss that working is interfering with your blogging? Isn't that a good excuse to get time off? :)
