Have you ever just had a day

that left you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside?

One where you just couldn't help but smile about?

Especially when it was just a plain old day?

Today was one of those days. I got to play along with Keely's Getting to Know YOU! My brother came over and hung out with my kids, playing Guitar Hero for HOURS, and just having a good time. Then, the neighbors (bonus kids and their parents) came down, we screamed at the T.V. watching hockey and NASCAR for a while, then cooked off some steaks and enjoyed a nice meal together. The kids all played nicely, the adults enjoyed each other's company, and it was just a good day.

Last night, my cousin and his fiancee were in town. They are getting married in a few months, and we're all excited for their wedding. I have a GREAT family, and while we are scattered across much of the country, we're all pretty close, so we were super excited for them to visit for the weekend. C & H stayed with my (above-mentioned) brother and his wife, and last night, the four of them, as well as my other brother and my mom all came out to my house for pizza and games. They brought "Things", which we had never played before. It.Was.AWESOME. On my must buy list. We laughed hysterically, and had a phenomenal time.

Overall, this weekend has been great, even though I (of course!) had to work. My girls let me sneak out early on Saturday, but before I left, I got to hang out with my friend Erin and her new baby boy while helping her with her return. Last night was, as I mentioned, a blast, and today was way to much fun. I wish every weekend was so laid back and generally enjoyable, but short of that, I'll take the ones I can get interspersed into the everyday.

So what did YOU do this weekend?
