Gettin’ a “Move” on

The weather is beginning to change. Cold, rainy days mean we’re stuck inside, looking for things to do.

We’d love for one of those things to do to be a PlayStation MOVE. We’ve been checking them out, and I can’t lie, we’re kind of drooling a little bit on ourselves.

I can envision my boys, who already love the Sly games, completely swooning over the Sly Collection. (Hello, HiDef!) And OMIGOSH, assuming they’d be able to get it away from their dad, the Lord of the Rings Aragorn’s Quest?

My six year old daughter would lean more towards such cuties as the EyePet, and Toy Story 3.  Start the Party would give us hours of hang out and play together fun – those are the kinds of things I love for the kids to do while we get dinner ready, we can watch the hilarity ensue while we cook.

I fully anticipate more and more of the great games PlayStation is already known for. As a mom, I love that the kids are getting up off the couch! (Psst- they don’t even realize it’s exercise! Do me a favor, and don’t blow that cover, ok? Thanks!) I really love that there are games that my husband and I would play, too. (Psst again – that means he gets up off the couch, too. Shhhh!)

The PlayStation MOVE bundle is ready to hook up to your PlayStation 3, and can be purchased for a very reasonable $99.  The Motion Controller is rechargeable, so no need to by stock in the battery company. The Eye Camera tracks the Motion Controller with amazing accuracy, and even captures the players in high definition quality to put them literally inside the game. It’s integrated microphone and the PS3’s internet connectivity mean easy family video chats, too!
