I have totally played the "Because I said so! THAT'S WHY!" card. I really thought that I wouldn't use that one, but then, I tried to rationalize with a 3 year old. And I've learned something. Sometimes, it really is just because I said that was the way it was going to be. Because I'm the mom, and I don't have to have a reason, or at least not one that you'll understand just yet. And while I hate it, I get it.

I totally know that line so well! I think it's kind of like the "get out of jail free" card for parents. Don't need a reason, just do it! ;-)
