Back to Reality

Over the last few days, I've taken a bit of a hiatus.

I made it to (and through) Thursday. Left the office before 7p.m. on Friday.

Spent several hours on Saturday hanging at the ball diamonds for the boys' first ever baseball game. Concession duty first thing, Jamboree game right after.

We lost. Boys were bummed. They played a good game, though, and I'm excited to see how things develop.

Had lunch with my mom after the game. On the way there, started having back spasms again. I really did a number on my back a couple weeks ago, and hopefully will be able to get in this week to get it fixed. Made it so I was only able to sort of enjoy lunch.

Hubs offered to take me home, but we had a couple other things we needed to get done, and they were both soooo close to the restaurant. So- off to the sporting goods store to get baseball socks and cleats, followed by a  run past Lowes to get oil for the lawnmower and a strap for a loose downspout.

Came home and spent some quality time on the heating pad. Lazy, lazy day today, too. Got a little bit of laundry folded, but not enough. Got some blog reading done, but little writing, which makes me sad.

Still have a ton of work to do at the office, but looking forward to being able to work more on my schedule than someone else's. Have even more to do around my house, but we'll get there.

I have officially returned to our regularly scheduled reality!

Thanks for hanging with me.
