Still Celebrating!

Happy Thanks David’s Day!

Wait. What?
No, I’m not insane, today is a holiday in our family.
See, I have brothers who are twins. One goes by Patrick, the other is David.
As is frequently the case with twins, little happened to one without the other being involved.
St. Patrick’s Day was greeted by my Irish clan with much joy and celebration, plenty of green, an occasional pinch, and perhaps a beer or two.
I don’t remember exactly how old he was, but he was young. Certainly under five.
In true “Out of the Mouths of Babes” form, poor, left out, sad little David piped up with “Mom? When’s Thanks David Day!?”
We’ve decided, as adults, that it’s today. As the “older” twin, David usually got to go first at stuff, so Patrick gets to have his holiday first.
And we shall drink blue beer.
You’re welcome.
