Can I brag a minute?
Not on my kids, who are pretty stinking fabulous, and had to spend most of their Spring Break hanging out in my office with me instead of being somewhere warm and fun.
Not on the eleven year old, who is working hard on his attitude, and while we’re not quite where we need to be, we’re better than we were.
Not on the nine year old, who read 1,800 minutes to help raise money for books for his classroom and the school library.
Not even on the eight year old, who folded something like 6 loads of laundry a couple weekends ago.
I wanna brag on my husband.
Two weeks ago, on his day off, he had all three kids with him. He started the day with routine physicals for our boys, where he had the presence of mind to ask some additional questions about some health screenings we had talked about briefly several months ago. From there, he went with all three children to Sam’s Club to pick up a few things we needed.
After that? He went to the dentist. With all three kids.
Dude. I’m not sure *I* would take all three kids with me for physicals AND the dentist in the same day!
This is all in the middle of tax season, where he’s left being all but a single dad anyway.
Pretty sweet. I’m a lucky girl.
