When it rains…

I am not going to go into a great deal of detail, because I want to make sure that the right people are able to say the right things at the right times.

A teacher at the kids’ school passed away unexpectedly this weekend.

Monday is going to be hard. This teacher was exceptionally popular, worked with multiple grade levels, all of the kids know this teacher.

Hard feels like an understatement.

And then, of course, there is the heartache for this teacher’s co-workers.

I want a bigger, stronger word than “hard” – hard truly feels so weak.

There are nearly 400 children, young, sweet, impressionable children, who are going to have to face this loss tomorrow.
