Firewood and Wood Fires

Yesterday was so very nice. The weather was lovely, in the mid-seventies, sunny, comfortable.

We went out to Papaw's (my in-laws) to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. First, though, we tackled the delivery of wood that needed stacked.

Papaw got a fire going, and cook sticks were doled out. Food was enjoyed. Something about food cooked over a nice wood fire... especially if you've been outside playing or working! I love it.

When it was all said and done, as the sun began to set, we just enjoyed the last bit of the fire.
